Halifax, NS, Canada, March 10, 2015– Bluedrop Training & Simulation Inc., a subsidiary of Bluedrop Performance Learning Inc. (“Bluedrop”) (TSX-V: BPL), has been awarded a follow-on contract to provide a second virtual reality based helicopter simulator to the Colombian National Police Force.
This will build upon a previous contract between Bluedrop Training & Simulation and the Colombian National Police Force who are successfully using a rear crew simulator to train helicopter personnel on standard procedures, communications and hoisting.
The new order provides a reconfigurable Sikorsky Blackhawk cockpit simulator, which will allow the police force to train pilots on appropriate interactions with the full helicopter aircrew. The simulator provides complex and dynamic scenarios, such as hostile threats or aircraft emergencies, which would be too dangerous and costly to train in-flight on an actual aircraft.
