    Bluedrop Training & Simulation achieved a major milestone for its Hoist Mission Training System (HMTS) in July 2018. The HMTS has achieved Final Acceptance of its innovative new Virtual Reality rescue hoist training product at 12 Wing Shearwater and is Ready For Training.

    Bluedrop delivers world's first CH-47 virtual reality rear crew mission trainer to Boeing Rotorcraft Systems in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The Rear Crew Mission Trainer (RCMT) is a fully immersive virtual training device for mission-specific rear-crew training. The cutting-edge trainer provides a realistic virtual environment in which the rear-crew of a helicopter can develop skills in team-wide communication during mission training.

    2015 - Boeing Invests in Bluedrop Training & Simulation

    Bluedrop Training & Simulation Inc. and The Boeing Company (Boeing) announced a commitment to develop the next generation rear crew trainer for the CH-47 Chinook (Chinook) helicopter along with a five year commitment to support development and ongoing international sales.

    2013 - Bluedrop acquires Atlantis Systems Corp.

    Bluedrop acquired Atlantis Systems Corp. in 2013 and combined it with the existing Defence and Aerospace business unit headquartered in Halifax, Nova Scotia. The combined business was renamed Bluedrop Training & Simulation Inc.

    2010 - Bluedrop Secures CAE Contract

    Bluedrop Training & Simulation Inc. was selected as part of the Operational Training Systems Provider program to complete work for CAE on the development of courseware pertaining to Canada's CC-130J Block 7.0 aircraft upgrades.

    2005 - Atlantis Secures CFTS Contract

    Atlantis Systems Corp., a training integrator specializing in military and commercial aviation, and nuclear markets worldwide, announced that it signed subcontracts with Kelowna Flightcraft relating to the Department of National Defence’s Contracted Flying Training and Support program (the "CFTS Program").

    1978 - Atlantis Founded

    Atlantis was founded in the 1970's and has built and delivered a suite of maintenance trainers and flight training devices for various military aircraft including the CF-18 fighter and Black Hawk and Sea Hawk helicopters, and for civilian aircraft, including the Boeing 747 and 767, as well as the Airbus A320.
